Beat 102-103 has won the ‘Workplace Wellbeing’ category at the SFA National Small Business Awards 2023. The regional radio station beat four other companies in a highly competitive category that included firms from Kildare and Mayo. Several Beat employees accepted the award at the RDS in Dublin.
Beat impressed judges with their initiatives to foster workplace wellbeing, such as appointing an EDI champion, engaging constructively with employees and management through a recognised trade union, improving sustainability, and organising wellbeing sessions and community initiatives.
