Learning Waves, the training hub for the Independent Commercial Radio Sector has launched a 6-module environmental training programme, aimed at equipping radio stations with the skills to contribute positively to sustainability. The programme – designed and delivered by SustainabilityWorks – covers a wide range of topics over six consecutive 1-hour weekly sessions:
- Session 1 – Environmental sustainability 101
- Session 2 – The impacts of climate change in our communities
- Session 3 – The role of government policy in driving climate action
- Session 4 – Climate change reporting: the role of the journalist/ producer
- Session 5 – Managing your station’s environmental impacts
- Session 6 – The role of business and brands
